News flash!

It's been a crazy few months for me.  Non-stop everything.  Work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Dance Tues-Thurs 6-10pm and Sat 9am-1pm, and then working on Nana'o in between, any chance I get while trying to maintain somewhat of a social life.  This past weekend I put everything on hold.  I was a little uneasy about it at first, just knowing how much work I have to do.  But you know what?  It was a much needed, well deserved break.  I attended Coachella for the very first time.  I'd been wanting to go for years, and finally made it.  I had no idea what to expect.  It was the greatest experience of my life so far to be honest.  Good music, great people, and unforgettable times.  And good vibes all around.  Everyone was there for a good time.  No drama, and no cares in the world.  I felt like such a hippie, it was great, life was great.  I had a moment to myself where I just sat back, took in a deep breath of air and enjoyed the sounds and surroundings, the sunset and people. Everything and everyone was beautiful, and I appreciated everything.  Nothing in that moment could bring me down.  It's only been a few days since I've been home from the festival and I know this Coachella "high" won't last forever, but I hope to carry on the peace & love I experienced for as long as I can.

Coming back to work was not easy at all.  Dance almost killed me.  Nana'o has been a little rough to jump back into.  But I'm here now.  And oh yeah, one thing, one huge thing has helped get me to jump back into reality.  About 2 months ago I applied for the Spring Patchwork Show in Santa Ana and they've accepted my application!  I'll be a vendor at my first major craft show next month!  So now I've really gotta get back to it and crank out some new merchandise.

I've been bit by the Coachella bug, so please don't mind if my new things are influenced by a bit of peace, love and happiness. Haha.  Until next time...
